Delta 180: Changing Lives in the Mississippi Delta is a short documentary film which tells the story of an after-school program in Greenville, Mississippi which is impacting the lives of youth and others in the community.
Employing the philosophy and curriculum of the Salem, Oregon-based 180 Degrees Program, LLC, the Delta 180 program is making a difference in Greenville, Mississippi by reducing juvenile crime and improving school performance.
This film tells Greenville’s story and offers inspiration to others who may also wish to implement the 180 Degrees Program in their communities.
The film concludes with an original song, “Turning My Life Around.” composed and written by Greenville native Eden Brent for this film, and performed by Brent and the Greenville Weston High “Voices of Liberation” Choir.
